To those that have instagram
Very limited decks
I was in the warehouse going through some old Trade Show boxes when I came across a few of these 'special, very limited' decks. A hundred or so were made to assemble into completes to give to VIPs when Trade Shows were big. I guess these were left behind, and have been sitting protected these past years. It would be cool to have one. More on the decks in a bit.
If you haven't heard Bones Brigade : An Autobiography is finished and is being released this November. We have been encouraging fans to instagram a pic from the 80's (tagged #bonesbrigade), the guys are choosing the best images that are posted to include in the Bones Brigade DVD artwork!

Back to the decks; we decided to give one away. Yup. To participate in this sweepstakes you will need to instagram your pic (#bonesbrigade) from the 80's to enter. One of the pics that are submitted will be chosen to receive the signed deck. Simple. The more you instagram the greater the chances the guys will choose your pic to include in the DVD artwork, not to mention the increased chances to score the deck. Winner of the deck will be chosen on September 17th, 12:00pm.

The screening will take place at the Hill Auditorium at the High Museum of Art, 1280 Peachtree ST. NE Atlanta GA 30309 . The event is FREE but you have to stop by Stratosphere Skateboards to get a wrist band, the supply is limited so don't put it off and stop by today! After the screening there will be an after party, just across the street at the Museum of Design Atlanta, with FREE beer. See you there !

Mimi Knoop wins the 8th annual Chili Bowl contest!
While the other gals were competing in Colorado last weekend, Mimi Knoop was in San Francisco at the Chili Bowl contest with Poseiden Foundation. Skaters, Fabrizio Santos and Jen O'Brien were also there helping with Poseiden's mission to better the community by educating the youth. Kids were rewarded with hoopla goodies for picking up trash around the park. They also held some best trick contests for the kids as well.
Mimi also skated & won the women's division at the Chili Bowl contest! Check out Mimi's blog for more pics and Thrasher's footage from the event below!

Allysha & Justyce rip at Rocky Mountain Rampage 2012!
Congrats to hoopla riders Allysha Bergado & Justyce Tabor for their amazing performance over the weekend at the rocky mountain rampage vert & bowl contest in Colorado!
Allysha Bergado landed on the podium in both vert and bowl respectively. Justyce placed 4th in the women's bowl comp. Congrats ladies!

Just wanted to give you a quick recap on last night's screening, I was quite busy so my photos don't really do justice but we'll send you an official recap shortly.
Tony
First come, first served
We had over 700 people attending. We invited 600 people and had approximately 100 tickets at the door. A few people got turned away but mostly everyone made it in. The line up for tickets at the door started at 2pm, doors opened at 7pm.
We had an amazing crowd that included many young kids as well, many were lining up to meet Rodney and Tony.
Two of three screenings
The event went really well and the guys we're fantastic to deal with. The general feedback I received was that everyone felt so blessed to not only witness the movie, but having these legends there to share it with was a lifetime opportunity.

Once the emotional dust from the movie & Q&A settled, BLKTOP project gave everyone the icing on the cake and made sure everyone returned home with a smile on their faces.

The second annual Three Amigos Tour—featuring the 2012 Amigos: Neen Williams, Keelan Dadd, and Boo Johnson—blazed trails through the dirty south on a mucho grande tour that took them from Texas to Florida.
