Ok, Ok, so I set up an old vato rat from the 90s, only I
drilled a new longer wheelbase for it, so it got me thinking,
again... I saw on Skull & Bones where the new catalogue's
gonna have a pool ripper that's 10" wide, which I believe's the
same shape as the pool bomb from a few years ago. I'm gonna
try it out, but what I'd REALLY like to see is a deck just like
the hot rod flames @ 9.375 x 33.75, but with a REAL pulled in,
very tapered nose like those 90s vato rats -also, I'd like to see the
rosebones longboard with about 2.50" taken from the middle, same
nose & tail, same concave, just some length taken out for tighter parks,
maybe 33.5-75 long. I'd like to R&D some decks like these!
ps I did try the skull & sword, but it was just a little too short
& wide for my picky feet, even though the measurements seemed
close.

Couple questions for those in the know:

Is the PF formula of the Bowlriders and Bombers the same as the SPF formula? I've tried researching this, but can't find a yes or no answer, just some nuanced, ambiguous language.

Also, would the wider contact patch of the 60mm Bombers make them grippier than the SPF 60's (which I alread ride)?

Hey Jesse

Was riding my rosebone longboard around the old 70's park Lansdowne yesterday (a perfect fit, not too long, not too short), and was thinking to myself how great it would be to have this exact shape, same width, concave, etc., scaled
down to a shorter length, say 9.375, for some pool & (bigger trannie) park riding?? It'd be an updated Old School model
for older, bigger guys like myself, who miss the 80's small nose/bigger tail boards, & who have outgrown the old re-issues. You could have 1 exactly like the rosebone, and a slimmer shape like the 90's vato-rat (just lengthened to compensate for aged types). I know there's other companies w/similar decks I'm describing out there, but again, I REALLY dig the Powell Peralta Classic shapes/concaves/widths, and believe you could pull off such boards better than anyone else.
