• I think it's one of those situations where a "revolution" happens and people want to finger one person as the spark that changed things. Like how Nirvana is credited for being the spark that launched "grunge" even though the form of music had been around for a while. I think Rocco is looked at as the spark that ended the reign of the "big corporations" in skating, PP, Vision, Santa Cruz. And brought the rise of smaller companies. Fair or not, he just became the face of that "movement", even though many other guys had a large hand in it, including Hawk, Mullen, TG, so on. I think he's an egomaniacal douche, but that's just me.
