- Powell Corp first established. Quicksilver deck introduced.
- 1977
- First Bones wheels introduced. Ray Rodriguez rides for Bones.
- 1978
- Powell and Peralta join forces.
- 1979
- Alan “Ollie” Gelfand invents the Ollie. Birth of the Bones Brigade.
- 1980
- Street Issue board introduced. Early street skating emerges.
- 1981
- Caballero invents 360 ollie, calls it Caballerial and is named Rookie of the Year. A young Tony Hawk joins the Bones Brigade.
- 1982
- First Powell video released, Bones Brigade Video Show. Eddie Reategui, Steve Steadham, Kevin Staab are ams.
- 1983
- Lance Mountain joins Powell Peralta. Tommy Guerrero is street champ after his win at the first ever street contest in San Francisco. Rat Bones wheels designed by Cab.
- 1984
- Mike McGill invents the McTwist in Sweden and unveils it at Del Mar Skate Ranch. Makes his first attempt. Future Primitive produced. Jeff Grosso, Bob Reeves, Adrian Demain are ams.
- 1985
- Street skating is now Streetstyle. Jesse Martinez joins Powell.
- 1986
- Animal Chin video released. Mike Vallely, Jim Thiebaud, Adrian Demain, Ray Underhill, Chris Borst.
- 1987
- Mini Ramps become popular. Ray Barbee, Chet Thomas, Steve Saiz, Eric Sanderson are ams.
- 1988
- Public Domain video released. Danny Way, Bucky Lasek, Frankie Hill, Colin McKay are ams.
- 1989
- Street skating becomes dominant. Barbee and Saiz turn pro. Rudy Johnson, Guy Mariano, Gabriel Rodriguez, Paulo Diaz are ams.
- 1990
- Ban This video. Skate TV. Frankie Hill turns pro. Salman Agah is am. Propaganda video released.
- 1991
- Powell Skate Zone opens. Chris Senn, Pat Brennen, Frank Hirata, Lance Conklin join team.
- 1992
- Hot Batch video released. Adam McNatt, Eric Ricks, and Wade Speyer join team.
- 1993
- Bones Clear wheel formula introduced.
- 1994
- Vallely returns to Powell. Suburban Diners video released. Gershon Mosley joins team.
- 1995
- Gershon Mosely joins team. Scenic Drive.
- 1996
- Mini Logo introduced.
- 1997
- REDS introduced. Charlie Wilkins turns pro. Andy Macdonald joins team.
- 1998
- Strip Mall Heroes and Magic released. Pat Channita, Moses Itkonen, Paul Machnau join team. Jon Comer turns pro.
- 1999
- Pat Channita WCS Street Champion, Andy Macdonald WCS vert and combined champion. BRIGADE launched. BONES HardCore bushings introduced. Bones Swiss Ceramics introduced.
- 2000
- Danny Wainwright sets High Ollie record. Class of 2000 Bones Bearing video released. Andy Macdonald sets world record. SOC introduced. Basic Training released. Brite Lite construction introduced.
- 2001
- BONES Wheels SPF and ATF formulas introduced. Jason Ellis sets record. Surf One brand launched.
- 2002
- Bones Super Swiss 6 introduced. BONES Wheels relaunched. Mini Logo bearing introduced. Angelboy brand launched.
- 2003
- Powell Classic brand launched. Mini Logo SuperLight introduced. Andy Mac brand launched.
- 2004
- Basic Training Plus released. Powell Classic Spoon Nose decks introduced.
- 2005
- Powell Peralta is reborn. CAB celebrates 25 years of riding for Powell Peralta. BONES Wheels STF introduced. Powell Golden Dragon brand launched.
- 2006
- Bones Swiss Labyrinths introduced. George celebrates 30 years of building high quality skateboards and components for skateboarders around the world.
- 2007
- Positiv Skateboards brand launched.

- Primary brand launched. Bones Bearings celebrates 25 years.
- 2009
- Skate One introduces LIGAMENT™ deck technology. Powell FUN! Video released. hoopla skateboard brand launched. Jordan Hoffart turns pro.
- 2010
- Chad Bartie, Mike Vallely join Powell-Peralta team. Bones Brigade Documentary announced. Stacy Peralta and Steve Caballero inducted into the Skateboarding Hall of Fame. CAB wins Pro Tec Pool contest.
- 2011
- BONES WHEELS video, Aldrin Garcia sets new high ollie record, 45". CAB four peat at Bondi Bowl contest.
