@WakeInFright Solid line man! What is it called when you roll up fakie but then kickturn (or is that a revert?) the front of the board over the coping into a rock position?
Is it a fakie-rock? I can “feel” it in my feet when I get to that position but haven’t tried yet. I am stoked to see such a nice example. Also like that rock and roll, nice style!
Cheers @helliot ! Hopefully I will get some more footage today or tomorrow at another park which has a decent looking bowl, and street setup including a rail with a kink!
Let me just say that if Corindi skatepark was near me I would skate the shit out of it and really progress. I really struggled with the kinked rail as it was really high, and the best I got was having the board on it with both feet before bailing. I would have to practice consistently to improve my pop and I would be fine. I estimate it to be around 20” tall, and a curved pipe. I was struggling to slide on the hubba as I had no wax, and my front wheels would just grab. The bowl was great and I want to go again to land one of the boardslides around the curved lip coping! Lol, I also have a little lump on each ankle from copping my tail there!

Really gnarly, rough and gravelly, but not too bad!

I bet most of us have the same wishes....a *very* nearby park with no traffic for frequent sessions!!!!
That park looks super fun.
@VatoRat Nice to see that....makes me want to try new things!
I'm starting to really like the flatter concave in the Mini Logo decks. When I was skating more transition I didn't care for it.
