That geegah example on skate and annoy is definitely how they should do one. All those colors just pop nicely. Granted I've only seen the recent reissue geegahs in pics, but the colors they've done, while they're not terrible, they do seem a bit dull after a while. More color dips all around!
dont forget technology is way different now than it was back then and that graphics are now screened instead of the old method so colors are brighter now
@Ptown I agree! I'm tired of the ripper and s&s on everything. I like VCJs dragon artwork the most. A few years back that had a killer modern shaped deck with a new VCJ dragon standing on top of a hydrant that said"chin". I skated it until the tail razored in hopes of getting another, but they discontinued the shape.
Yeah, I think that hydrant dragon graphic was one of their best new graphics in recent years. You must have had the big deck @SK8ER? I always liked the look of that shape. I might consider getting one if they put it out again with a good graphic. The smaller one is the Peralta hipster shape, which is ok.
I like how at one time they variations of their classics, like the black light series and the pool light ripper and graffiti ripper. An original vato rat graphic on a modern shape would cool. I guess a pig reissue of that would be nice too, I'm sure it would sell well.
I've seen pics of that and I know they did a holiday version too. What I meant to say though was a shaped deck, like that hydrant dragon or fun shapes. It's an awesome graphic, they should include it with their classic graphics and put it on different shapes, pops included. I like the s&s and ripper, but yeah they are there all the time, so a classic vato rat would be a welcome addition.
I love skateone too, but I wish they would just focus on Powell Peralta, Bones, and Mini Logo. Stop all the other stuff and go back to EVERYTHING being made in America.
I never saw why they needed the golden dragon line anyway when they had the PP pop completes which are better graphics and ML trucks. It would be nice if they could make everything in the US, but I bet that's impossible to do and stay financially sound unfortunately.
well if george can stay financially stable for over 30 years making stuff here then he can still do it he is a pretty smart dude and skate one doesnt really need to compete with anybody they already have the perfect skateboards so they really shouldnt worry about what everyone else is doing because they already have all the major companies beat

Or light blue.
