I discovered that the local shop stores the boards in a hot/humid warehouse (sometimes for months) before bringing them into the shop. I believe that the warping, soft wood and sticky product( rails, wheels) are the local shops fault not Skateone. That is why I edited the post.

the thing about powell is they ALWAYS make sure u earn it! it took a long time for my friend to turn pro for them as well! it took them about 6 years before they gave him the nod there is nothing more prestigious than getting ur name on a powell board as far as im concerned!
