That's a great colorway. I'd jump on the FP if it was the FP2. I have every reissue and a few OG FP2 (my first board). If I start adding the FP1 into the mix I'll end up with divorce papers.

Is there a reason why they keep reissuing Saiz, Hill, Nicky Guerrero, and Underhill and never Barbee? It's like a few colors of the ragdoll (not even the spoon nose or kick nose) and one hydrant. I've been wishing for them to reissue the tarot deck but it never happens.

It depends on the OG Pro to okay the reissues. With Ray Barbee, it's because he is working with another company and has requested to hold off on reissuing his graphic.

I pulled a couple of Barbee ragdolls out of the quiver, and they are so nice. Solid sturdy wood. Straight as an arrow. Made in the USA. $65 price tag.

Now we get thin twisty wood from Mexico for $109. I used to buy 20 boards a year - some to ride, some to hide.

I think I bought 5 over the last 4 years. Mainly because they were rad colorways. 2 of them twisted (a Welinder and a Saiz).

You can still find OG stuff on Ebay sometimes; it's crazy that wood and laminates that are 30+ years old are better than what's being put out today. And kids today don't even know; they expect to snap decks on the reg. Rn I am riding one of those Sims "Buzz" models that were so unpopular back in the day, plus it had its graphic scratched off, so it was dirt cheap, and it has lasted a long-ass time, first as a commuter setup and now as my session setup.

I just looked at the Powell reissues on SoCal skate shops website. I couldn’t find one that isn’t foil. Are the foil selling that well? It doesn’t seem that way to me, the latest BB foil series is still readily available.
