The PP this year was probably the best so far. Schroeder really should not have been skating. He was noticeably off ( even for him ). Psyched for Lance!
Yea, those young kids are amazing. They have the tricks and more importantly they have style and flair. That's what has been missing for a long time. Sure all the techy, video game stuff is cool and all, but it's too repetitive and boring.
Been lurking the forum for awhile... Lance was killer!! That's the kind of stuff that got me back at it a few months ago after a 20 year or so "break".
Yeah, @Bonely ! Welcome to the group, and glad to hear you're back "on board"! Always stoked to see new dudes join up.
And yeah, @SK8ER - I don't know if anybody on this forum is capable of blasting around concrete like that, but I KNOW I CAN'T. Every time I roll around (and fall off my board) in the bowls in our parks here around Atlanta, I still can't fathom how those dudes are getting off the lip. Heck, a wooden vert ramp is intimidating enough, but concrete? SO GNARLY!
So yeah, HUGE PROPS to all the dudes who can destroy that terrain, and EXTRA-HUGE PROPS to Stevie and Lance for timeless radness.
Thanks! @VatoRat Reliving the old days with my 8yr old and 3yr old. Hopefully I am passing on some good info to them but it's a fkn blast!
@skully@Chris I agree 100%. It's really great to see the 80's & early 90's skating generation passing along the importance of that "style" & flair" to our youngsters. That's just my opinion though.... Now to get rid of the gat damn scooters that seem to be taking over lol
I have a friend on FB who was able to get into the Pool Party this year. He was also able to skate the Combi the next day. He is a good skater and said it was fast as hell, had about 18" of vert and the coping was nice, but huge. He sat one row down from Lance for most of the skating.

And those 13 and 14 y.o. dudes in the pro's? Those little fuckers were rippin it up!!
Always stoked to see new dudes join up.
