I didn't know those songs by the Easybeats, but I'm digging them - thanks for the tips @WakeInFright and @SkaterRick ! I'm also totally digging the Hofner (I think) that homeboy is playing in the video...
@VatoRat , thanks for the plug! I didn't realize just how many YouTube vids there are of us floating around.
As for Hofners, I've never been real familiar but that thing is neat looking. It's cool seeing all the off-beat stuff that came out of Europe and Japan in the 60's.
Not all The Atlantics stuff is that intense, but they've got some crazy shit. They were absolutely ground-breaking.

@McShredorDie
I'd only very recently heard of Matons - I guess they were an Australian brand...

I'm sure @WakeInFright could enlighten us!
I was actually referring to the dude with the single cutaway. It looks like a Hofner Club, but a little too big. Maybe he's a smaller fella? https://www.facebook.com/HofnerGuitars/posts/10153363506696145
Whatever it is, it's a rad guitar!
I don't know much about surf music, but these guys are pretty great...

This right here is where Bad Religion truly found their sound.
And appeared on an MTV program accompanied by some skaters (one of which was the Gonz doing some ollies onto benches and such).
