    Pailhead was great! I'm surprised Ian and Al worked together so well seeing as they're from two completely different worlds. Streets on Fire is still a classic. Great skaters, great songs. I'll totally have to check out Chris Connelly's book sometime.

    I watched an episode of "Abandoned" recently, the one in New Orleans and Six Flags, with Rick McCrank, and Dee Slut who almost became lead singer of Black Flag had nothing nice to say about Ian,...which was interesting.

    I'm honestly not surprised. There are so many stories out there about how Ian in the early 80's was a complete turd of a person. He always bitched at people about little things, was very dogmatic and judgmental, etc.

    One guy said when he was a kid, him and his friend went to this old beat up club to see Minor Threat. While using the washroom, one of the old urinals fell off the wall and made a loud bang. Ian heard it, stormed in and yelled at the kids about how "this is why things can't be good" without even asking what happened or some shit. Apparently, this was very commonplace with him. Oh yeah, there's also the time he made a gang rape joke about this drunk chick at an Irving Plaza show. Go to 9:46

    Here is another band you need to check out if you are into the Industrial Wax Trax sound, LAIBACH. These guys hail from Slovenija, part of the old Yugoslavia, one of the Northern states close to Germany, whereas my parents came from Makedonija, one of the Southern states, close to Greece. Their singing is in Slovenski, Deutsch and English, and their music is a culmination of industrial, edm, and Wagneresque classical/neo political. They started in the very early 80's and are still around. Enjoy!

    Speaking of Pailhead, Lard, Revolting Cocks and other hybrid bands....
    ...does anyone remember The Witchtrials, a hybrid of Jello Biafra and The Sounds from the UK, recorded their self-titled ep in 1981, with songs like The Taser, and Humanoids From The Deep. Pretty awesome shit! Jello reckons it's the most evil record he has worked on lol
