Double holes

Does anybody know if it weakens your board if it is double drilled on the nose like they used to do?

  • I'm not sure about the practice of double drilling, but I just added a new nose bone to my Sword and Skull pig deck since the original plastics had long since fallen off. The new bones parts had a different hole pattern, so I filled in the old unused holes with wood glue, just to be on the safe side.
  • probably if you get scientific about it - but i've never had a problem and i often alter the wheelbase of boards to make it the exact length i want.
  • Im going to extend the nose on my Ray Underhill board. Gonna take the wheelbase from 15.375 to 14.5 so I will have a little more nose. Good to hear you do the same kind of thing and dont have problems benb.
