Truck width compared to deck width

  • I’m curious if the US sold Indy’s are still made in SF and maybe the international market is China made...
  • ermico is still doing some indys
  • I had some Ray Barbee Indy Hollow 159’s delivered today, and the “sticker” on the bottom says, “MFG in USA from US and Imported parts!”
I guarantee the imported part is the non forged, double drilled baseplate, maybe nuts and washers too. The hanger, hollow axle and kingpin would be US parts imo!
  • yea nuts and washers is also the imported parts
  • Barbees are last years so probably cast in the US. Word is they have moved all production over to China and new trucks are labeled as such. Some say the casting is better now as well as the bushings.
  • As I said my other 159’s are entirely Chinese, whereas the Barbee’s are part Chinese. The baseplates are identical. I wonder if Trump’s additional tariffs on the Chinese imports will raise prices on NHS/SkateOne products even further. Watch this space!
  • I second what that guy said. ^

I think the tariffs will to some extent be passed on in the form of price increases.
  • well things go up in price every year/every few years no matter who is president so that has to be ruled out
  • It’s not that simple Biebs. Prices don’t always go up every year....they are affected by many more factors than time!
  • well i know but look at the post office rates they climb up every year because they dont know how to balance their shit almost 8 dollars now for regular priority
  • gullwing has some 9 inch trucks out
  • were 5inch hurricanes any good?
  • Biebs won’t accept anything less than 8”
  • I though he rode 7.6" decks? oh I see now
  • i ride 7.5,7.6 as my main sizes occasionally ill do a 7.75 but the biggest i normally go is 7 7/8
  • I got a couple of pairs of skateone 7.63 trucks I like
  • I loved the gullwing super pro III except for the kingpin sticking up too high and bringing a grind to a crashing halt
  • I trimmed the kingpins on my Gullwings. My issue then was grinding coping and the curved notch grabbing the coping because it made entire contact with the coping as opposed to 0.25”-0.5” with straight hangers like Indy’s or Trackers. It’s like doing boardslides on a flat rail compared to pipe...the pipe requires more balance, but less speed as there is less friction!
  • teach us more mr scientist
  • It has been shown that those who post heaps of pics of scantily clad females on public forums usually have an inversely proportional sex life Biebs! How’s that for science? :p
  • haha nice one and i do it just to provide some relief for the guys from the tied down life
