I’ve been skating an 8.5 (shape 244). Took me awhile to adjust to the mellower K20 concave and the mellower kicks, but I love it now. Setup with Indy 159s and some experimental 56mm bones (fatty shape).

I’ve been very pleased with shape 192 paired up with Flight construction. The shape is fun, functional while the construction is durable with ever lasting pop. I set this up with Indy 169 trucks and Bones 56 mm SPF wheels.
  • Even as a Flight, the 192 is a whole lotta deck. You mostly skating pools?
  • I primarily skate small transitions, mini ramps and what they call street at a skatepark.
  • Figured I'd share a pic of my cruiser board. Pic is from April when I first set it up. I ride this board to work every day. It is set up with Indy 169 trucks, G Slide 59 MM wheels, Bones Med. bushings and Reds. A slappy a day keeps the doctor away ;)
Btw-My little one loves scooting around on this thing!

My first custom setup is ready for the weather to improve. I had an awesome day getting it together though. I have wheel choices on the way, but starting with 99a wheels that are larger than I am used to first (53mm old vs. 56mm new). It’s funny seeing the boards next to each other.....my first board looks a bit small, but the new one looks like a board for a big boy.

    - 8.5” deck shape 249
    - Independent trucks 149mm
    - Bones Easy Streets 56mm 99a SPF
    - Bones Super Swiss 6 bearings
    - Diamond grip with a cute little bear cutout

I only skate 9”+ shaped decks with a squarish tail. I can’t skate the tapered popsicle tail. I tried shape 244 for awhile, but I missed riding a bigger deck.
  • New Madness decks are nuts!!!! Set up an Alex Perelson!... has slick nose and tail! Some of their new stuff is amazing!
