Have you tried FP Insoles? They're by far the best for a custom boot fitting and impact protection.

    I use FP. My heels were taking a beating and I feel like these insoles really made a difference. My heels still take a pounding but these insoles seem to decrease the full force of impact.

    Wouldn’t they make the shoe tighter? I have a wide, flat foot and most insoles I’ve tried make the shoe too snug

    I replaced the insole of my Globe shoes with the FP insole. They seems pretty low-profile and are trimmable around the edges for a better fit in the shoe. In my experience, they seem to take the edge off of a heel slam.

    I use the FP kingfoam orthotics. After about 10 minutes of wear, the arch support forms to your foot shape.
