Mini logo 8.5 k20 concave questions

Are the tails the same degree just different length? Also what trucks do you like with it? Ben degros rides his peralta flight with thunders only and Im thinking if I should do the same thing since the tail seems pretty steep and high.

  • K20 has one of the mellowest tail/nose angles on the market at 18 degrees. Most other "mellow" boards are 19-20, and medium is in the 20-21 range.

I used Indies with forged baseplates (both 149Ti and 159 Forged Hollows) on the 249 shape, which mine measured at 8.62". The forged baseplates move the axles out just a hair more than the cast baseplates. Thunders would be great here as well.

My all-around setup is 149 Thunder TI on the 243 shape (mine measures a solid 8.37").

A couple weeks ago I bought a 248 shape expecting it to also be 8.37" like the 243 I had, but it was actually about an 8.12" so I returned it to the shop.

I skate 147 Thunder Lights on the 242 shape,

Ace and Mini Logo move the axles in a bit much for my liking on this concave and I don't get much for pop.

Ah thanks, I was not aware that they were considered much mellower and that's good for my feet. I'm deciding on choosing between independent 149s or thunder 149s for 8.5 for for just practicing flip tricks. I think I will choose thudners because they're low and lighter but also it pushes the wheelbase out a bit more
