Vallely trucks

Like so many of you I am recapturing my youth with a Vallely Elephant reissue (my definite childhood fave board). The front section where the trucks go is a bit wider so I am a little unsure on truck size, I am thinking independent 159 rather than a 169. Thoughts please , and thank you

169 if using a narrow wheel like the rat bone 2 or bones v5. 159 if using a wider wheel like rat bones or bombers.

Another question - would rkp trucks be ok for this kind of deck? Just for cruising and rolling about the place? Thanks

I’d get Indy ….feel perfect on old school decks
