Power slides

Ay, I have a normal Popsicle deck but with independent trucks and oj super juice 60 mm and 78a. Whenever I would try to slide, my front foot slides off. Are the wheels too soft or is it mostly operators error? I should probably mention that my griptape isnt the best but still works.

    Some 78A wheels will slide okay for a while; others won't at all, or will lose pieces of themselves if you try (imo all 78A wheels will eventually do this unless you don't grind or slide). Also, are they broken in? If they're new, they might be a little over-grippy till they break in.

    Yeah, I've only ever managed to break loose into a full power slide using 101 or harder wheels.
