Yes, as much tang as astronauts, and more power to him, but that parked tail... that immaculate setup... that depthless background implying a very doubful ollie; it was always an album cover that was a lesson for me on what a poseur was, back in the day.
Eh, I wouldn't go that far, but they did have perhaps the strongest slow-dance power ballad of the era in "Never Tear Us Apart." That cover art is poseur central, though, you gotta admit.

It's a great song, but yeah, there's an awful lot of button pushing and standing around compared to "Love Will Tear Us Apart". Still, that electronic drumming at 4:45 is pretty badazz.
