@VatoRat that doesn't look too terribly heavy. Did you use 3/4" ply for the sides and top? I'd love to build one that's wider but I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to move it.
I wish I would have made my quarter six feet wide instead of four. I can do various rocks and sweepers, but anything else (slash grinds, axle stalls, etc...) I don’t have enough room.
@SkaterRick - yeah, pretty much 3/4" ply (11/16" exactly) for the sides and platform, and three layers of 1/4" ply for the cover sheeting. The whole thing is 5'-4" wide, 1'-6" tall, 7' rad. transition, and 1'-6" platform. It's pretty crazy-heavy, but that dolly seems to do the trick! The almost 5 and a half foot width is just enough to do short grinds on, but still small enough to move around, and store in my garage. Cheaper, too. I saved some weight by keeping the 2x4's pretty well spaced out, so there aren't that many of them. I saved some money by buying a 2x8 and ripping it down the middle!..
Also, check out this wacky, tiny coping. It's just barely taller than the 3/4" cover sheeting and platform - works like a charm, though!..
Thanks, @VatoRat I should've remembered to go back through Insta and look at your in-progress pics. I was wondering if I downsized the sides and top to 1/2" ply, the surface to 1/4" ply, and spaced out the 2x4's a bit more if I could make a more movable quarter that's a full 6' long. Like @ThePartyFarter said, 4' is pretty tight.
I was thinking of getting casters, but someone put me off them, so I was going to put trucks on one side. Now another guy has suggested putting a dolly on one side. Decisions....
Only put one layer of ply on so far....dropped in on it....fuck it’s fast! Lol

Here's one more from when I was building it...
