Bones Ceramic Super REDS® are lighter and provide faster acceleration because the balls weigh much less. They create less friction and are thus faster than Super REDS®, with or without lubricant! When you get dirt into your Ceramic Super REDS®, the ceramic balls will help to re-polish the steel races flat again, providing a self-healing benefit because ceramic balls are so much harder than steel. Finally, ceramic balls will not rust, further lengthening their life. Ceramic Super REDS® use a bone colored shield with laser-engraved outer races for identification.

Best for the Northwest and the world! Review by Matt M

I'm a longboarder in Oregon and because of the harsh weather and road conditions doing city and rural hill bombs, I figured these bearing were the best for my situation and my budget because at the time I could not afford the swiss ceramics. Well I'm happy to tell you I bought these in 2010! And haven't bought another set of bearings since. Yes eight years ago, and these bearings with very strict maintenance are still rolling smooth. I will buy bones again for another build but I can't decide if I want the Swiss, because these have performed amazing and lasted so long. (With strict maintenance) But I still wonder how much better the Swiss perform. (Posted on 5/30/2018)

I have skated for 25 years and thought all that time that the ceramic bearings were A) way too expensive B) could not be any better that steel Bones bearings. Well totally wrong on both counts these things are WAY fast and I will NEVER ride anything else again, god knows how fast the Swiss ones must be!! Bones 4 Life (Posted on 8/14/2017)

So I got the REDS Super Ceramics with my new Landyachtz. These bearing are amazing. I did a test to see how far I could go with 2 pushes. So I did the first starting push then another right after and I kept going for a good 350 feet. All my friends say like a hot knife cutting through butter. Amazing. Keep it up. I have been skating for about 10yrs now and have tried all other bearings luckys, pigs, black panthers, reflex, speeddemons and countless others. And have busted races and retainers and ball bearings fly everywhere left stranded far from home having to walk home. all other bearings are sluggish and flat out suck. now that I'm older I finally purchased Super REDS, Bones Swiss, and a set of REDS Ceramics for my setups and the ride is unbelievable. I will never go back to crappy bearings again if your a true skater no other bearing will do Bones brand is a no brainer. so go get some!!!!!!!! (Posted on 12/30/2013)
